Week 40 Gallery – Ready to be ready
Most important this week was the release of our daughters first novel, what an amazing thing she did! And second we just kept working to be ready to be ready to leave.

The week of our daughters bookrelease. The most important event this year, maybe, a very very big step in her life, and for that reason also in ours. We are grateful and amazed. She wrote a book from a childs’ perspective, on how it is to live with the fear of loosing a mother sick from cancer – or: about how life is, when living with this fear and yet being a person with a life. It was, of course, for us a very confronting book, since it is based on her own experience. I finished it the day after the release, when in a train and I cried a lot. But I am also amazed of her talent – the book is not about our life or about us, it just took me back.
The day of the release was beautiful, she was so full of joy and so mature and calm in the whole situation: Gave a speech, read some parts of the book, signed copies. After the release, we all went to her apartment to have dinner and to hug and smile.
This week we have been living at our friends farm near Solrød. We have not been living in the bus, but adapting it – most importantly we have had it fixed (something with the wheels) and installed a wood burning stove. This is so cozy and amazing! Our friends had a visit from Germany of a guy who also converted a van, and he helped Jesper install the stove. It was more complicated than anticipated, but it is always like that. We have to be optimists, and yet just do the work. On the saturday the stove was up and running, and we thought installing the bicykle holder would be a one hour job, but actually it took forever, and we ended up buying a brand new one.
The time at the farm was also a time of connecting with friends, and of taking time out to be creative, drawing and coloring in, knitting and singing. We have been too busy and needed this quiet time. We had the chance to help moving goats around, especially moving the old male was a challenge, and a lot of fun.
Now at the end of this week we are so ready to be ready, and also working intensely on the inner part of the journey: To stay in the present moment and do whatever we know is right, trusting the process and the signals we receive. We feel scared, and work on letting it go, we feel stressed, and do meditation, we feel lucky, happy, excited, ready. Now, we really want to set sail for Paris! And yet we really need to let go of the planning and just listen to the moment. To the wind.
